Q. What are Clip in Hair Extensions? TOP

A. If you are looking for a quick do it yourself hair extension system with no long-term bonding or damage, then you have found it. Clip-In Hair Extensions are easy to attach and can be perfectly matched with your own hair - giving you longer hair and added volume. Clip in extensions can be clipped in or out in minutes and are virtually undetectable. Clip-in extensions save you time and money! It's quick, easy and afforable!

Q. How are they attached to my own hair? TOP

A. They clip under your own hair by small snap clips. The clips we use are high quality clips with a silicone insert so they will not slip or damage your hair and are extremely secure. Once fitted you will not be able to see the clips.

Q: How long do the extensions take to put in? TOP

A: They clip in with little snap clips with combs on that are invisible once you've got them in. With practice, they should take 5 minutes to put in & about 60 seconds to take out!

Q. How long does my own hair need to be to use clip in extensions? TOP

A. Different people have differing opinions but as a general rule we find as long as your hair is 6 inches or more you should be fine.

Q. How long do the extensions last? TOP

A: Our extensions are the finest quality human hair, so they last as long as you want them to. If you look after your hair it is not uncommon for Foxy Locks extensions to last up to a year. If not treated well they will need to be replaced every six months. The more you look after them the longer they will last.

Q. What type of Hair is used in Extensions? TOP

A. We use 100% Remy Human Hair in our Extensions. Nothing beats the versatility of human hair extensions. Human hair, unlike synthetic hair can be straightened with a flat iron, curled with heat, or chemically treated to perm or dye the hair.
Thin and fine hair becomes full and thicker. Short hair transforms to long, luxurious hair. We guarantee that the hair we sell is 100% Natural Human hair & is ethically sourced.

Q. Is your hair Remy, and what is the difference from other hair? TOP

A. Yes, we only use Remy Hair in our extensions. The term 'Remi'/ Remy means 'Cuticle correct'. This means that only the finest virgin (Untreated & not previously coloured) hair is used. The hair differs from normal 'Silky' hair that's available on the market, because it is hand picked & aligned so that every single strand runs in the same direction that it grows from the scalp. This ensures that the cuticle on each hair is running the same way (downwards), in order to keep the hair shiny, soft & truly tangle free. After picking & aligning, the hair goes through a gentle; but very complicated treatment process, to colour, straighten or wave the hair in the best way. 'Silky' hair has the cuticle removed; whereas 'Remi' hair has the cuticle still intact. 'Remy' has a shine like no other & will not matt or tangle when worn for long periods.

Q. What is the difference between 120g & 160g extensions? TOP

A. The difference is only the weight. All our extensions are the same high quality.

If your hair is fine and/or you are looking for mainly length and some volume then Foxy Locks 120grams set should be suitable for you, this amount of hair is suited to finer hair as it should be all you need to get volume & length.

If your hair is thick or you are looking for lots volume as well as length we recommend our Foxy locks 160grams set, this set provides even more hair. It will blend in with naturally thick hair and create lots of volume for all hair types.

Q. What clips do you use? TOP

A. We use metal clips with secure grip. They weigh less than one gram each and are small, so they are very easy to hide. The total weight of clips is a small fraction of hair weight.

Q. Can they be straightened, curled or tongued? TOP

A. Treat the hair as if it is your own. Use a flat iron/straightener or tongs, even when fitted, but as with your own hair, never use hot tools too often as you could dry the hair and it will not last as long.

Q. Can I colour the hair? TOP

A. The hair can be coloured. As a general rule it is easier to darken the hair than to lighten the hair. Blonde hair has been bleached more so more caution must be taken. We highly recommend having your hairdresser dye the extensions as you will get the results you want, colouring them yourself always poses a high risk of not coming out the shade you want. Always test a small sample first.

Q. Can I wash & blow-dry the hair extensions? TOP

A. You can wash them as you would your own. Shampoo and conditioner. We also recommend using a hair treatment on them every few weeks, because the hair is not attached to your scalp it is not getting the oils it should be. Using a treatment/hair mask will help keep them looking healthier and shiny for longer! You will find that you don't need to wash your extensions too much, about every 3 weeks. The extensions can be blow-dryed, but it is not recommended to do it too often. It is best to let your hair extensions dry naturally after washing them.

Q. My colour is out of stock, when can i order? TOP

A. Due to popular demand some colours sell out faster than others, we are always doing our best to get them in as quickly as possible but because our extensions are made to the highest quality, production can take some time. We usually re-stock every 2 weeks, dates should be on the website for when we will next be in-stock, if it isn't on there yet please keep checking back daily. Thank you so much for your patience. We promise they are worth any wait!

A. Foxy Locks extensions can only be bought here at www.FoxyLocksExtensions.com. If you see Foxy Locks anywhere else online then they will be counterfeits and you will be purchasing lower quality extensions or nothing at all. Q. How long does shipping usually take? TOP

A. Shipping times always vary depending on where abouts you are. International shipping (outside UK) usually take 7-14 working days, on rare occasions it can take up to 3 weeks. UK delivery usually takes 2-4 working days, on rare occasions it can take just over one week. Please refrain from contacting us until this time has lapsed, as we are unable to investigate further until that time period has past. Thank you for understanding.
