How to Get Layered Volumised Hair

Step #1

Use Foxy Locks 20" clip in hair extensions.

Step #2

Wash & dry your own hair. Whilst drying your hair use a barrel brush, follow your hair with the hair dryer and curl under your hair around your face. Turn on your hot rollers, you will need jumbo rollers for this look (You do not necessarily need rollers for this look).

Step #3

Now that your hair is dry, apply your Foxy Locks extensions. Apply mousse from root to tip. Divide your hair into three sections, pinning the two sections. Use a hairbrush to untangle your hair. Section parts of your hair into small sections, hold your hair upwards and put the hot roller at the end of your small sectioned piece of hair, roll/wrap it around the hair facing inwards/under. Use a pin or clip to hold the roller and repeat this process all over your hair. Leave for approx 20 minutes. 

Step #4

Get your straighteners and straighten all of your hair (not roots as volume should be there from rollers), run the straighteners down sections of your hair and turn them under at the ends to create layers (this works a lot better if your hair already has layers in it). Turn the straightners around your face so your hair frames your face shape. This will create more body and define layers.

Step #5

Get a strong hold hair spray, section pieces of your hair around your crown (one piece at a time) and spray the hair at the roots, using a 'Denman' or 'Hedhog' brush, backcomb the hair by brushing your hair towards the root. Do this all over the top of your head and then lightly comb over to make even. Your hair should be bigger and more volumised. Use a small amount of serum on the ends of your hair, this will keep the layers looking defined for longer. Hint-Keep your brush in your bag and re-backcomb your hair every so often to keep it looking bigger for longer.
